Green Value x Keelung Children’s Art Festival

As sustainability becomes a universal language, we began to ask ourselves: can plastic go beyond manufacturing and become a medium of creation?

At Green Value, we’ve been deeply committed to eco-friendly plastic OEM and recycled material supply. While helping clients realize a wide range of green plastic products, we also explore the soulful and heartwarming potential of these materials. So when we received a second collaboration invitation from artist Mr. Li Chi-Hung, we knew this would be another beautiful dialogue between art and sustainability.

Art x Materials: Introducing Eco-Friendly Plastics to Children’s Creativity

Now in its fifth year, the Keelung Children’s Art Festival Co-Creation Project is a major local event that celebrates community culture and encourages upper-grade students to create together. Led by Mr. Li, the project draws inspiration from Keelung’s symbolic elements—rain and boats—transforming the essence of the harbor city into artistic starting points.

Mr. Li first approached us in search of materials that were both sustainable and creatively flexible. Two years ago, we worked together on a series of 2D artworks. This year, we joined forces again to take on the challenge of 3D creations.

From material selection to process support, Green Value played a key role not just as a supplier but as an active collaborator. We offered a range of eco-friendly plastic samples, conducted experiments with the artist, teachers, and students, and tailored the materials for actual production. Through this process, we realized: when art steps into the world of materials, technology becomes more than a mechanical process—it becomes a bridge to creative expression.

5,000 Drops of Rain, a Romantic Symphony Linked by Plastic

The 2025 project theme is “Listening to Rain Through Bells.” Over 5,000 children from across the city participated, each creating a symbolic “rain chime” that uses sound to imagine the city and color to reconstruct Keelung’s romance.

These chimes are not only the fruit of children’s creativity but also the result of close collaboration between Green Value and Mr. Li’s team. We used recycled plastic pellets to produce weather-resistant, translucent bell bases through precision injection molding. Then, students and teachers from each school added handcrafted embellishments, bringing this large-scale art exhibition to life.

Beyond Expertise, a Promise to Sustainability

This collaboration reaffirmed for us that the value of eco-plastics extends beyond product applications—it reaches into education, culture, and social engagement.

At Green Value, every OEM project is not just about producing from a blueprint—it’s about fulfilling a promise to sustainable values. Whether you already have a full design or just an idea, we are here to help bring your vision to life.

Let Sustainability Begin with a Single Drop of Rain

Art reveals the warmth within materials. Technology makes ideals achievable.
We are honored to have been part of this creative journey.

Green Value will continue to cultivate eco-plastic manufacturing, working with more industries and creators to explore the many faces of sustainable materials.
